FAITHFUL WISDOM DEVOTIONAL

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

ISAIAH 40:31 (KJV)

Waiting is one of the hardest parts of faith. We pray, we hope, and sometimes we expect God to move according to the timeline we have created in our minds.

But God sees what we cannot see. His timing is not limited by our understanding, our deadlines, or our expectations.

There may be seasons when it feels like nothing is happening. Doors may remain closed.

Answers may seem delayed. You may even begin wondering whether God has heard your prayers.

But waiting does not mean God is absent.

Sometimes God is preparing the opportunity. Sometimes He is preparing the people around you.

And sometimes He is preparing you.

Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who place their hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

Waiting on God is not passive. It is continuing to pray, continuing to obey, and continuing to trust Him even when you cannot yet see the outcome.

Faith says, "God, I may not understand the timing, but I trust the One who controls it."

Trust in God's Timing

Take a Moment to Reflect

What are you currently waiting on God for?

Has waiting caused you to become anxious or discouraged?

What would trusting God's timing look like for you today?

Prayer

Father, help me trust You when I cannot see what You are doing. Give me patience in the waiting and strength when I become discouraged. Remind me that Your timing is greater than mine and that You are working even when I cannot see it. Help me continue walking by faith and not by sight.

In Jesus' name, amen.

"Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep walking by faith."
