Romans 6:4 says:
"We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." (NIV)
This verse speaks to the transformative power of salvation. Through faith in Christ, we leave behind our old life of sin and are raised into a brand-new life—one marked by purpose, freedom, and resurrection power.
In daily life, this means we’re no longer defined by who we were. In Christ, we are made new—empowered to walk in righteousness, guided by grace, and alive with hope for today and eternity.
