Romans 12:9 says:
"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good." (NIV)
This verse reminds us that true love is genuine.. it goes beyond words or appearances. Real love is shown through integrity, compassion, and authenticity. At the same time, it calls us to reject evil and stay firmly attached to what is good and pleasing to God.
In daily life, this means living out love with sincerity.. serving others without selfish motives, forgiving with a true heart, and caring without pretense. It also means making intentional choices to avoid what is harmful and to pursue what aligns with God’s goodness. In doing so, our lives reflect the purity and strength of Christlike love.
