Psalm 36:9 says:
"For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light." (NIV)
This verse speaks of God as the true source of life and light. All life flows from Him, and His presence brings clarity, direction, and truth. Without His light, we stumble in darkness, but with it, we see clearly and walk in the fullness of His life-giving presence.
In daily life, this means recognizing that real satisfaction, guidance, and joy can only be found in God. When we draw near to Him, He refreshes us like a fountain that never runs dry and shines His light on our path so we can walk in wisdom, peace, and hope.
