Proverbs 16:9 says:
"In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps."
This verse reminds us that while we may make our own plans, it is ultimately God who guides our path. His wisdom and direction are greater than our understanding, and He lovingly orders our steps for our good.
In daily life, this encourages us to trust God’s leading—even when things don’t go as we expect. We can make plans, but it’s His guidance that brings lasting purpose, peace, and fulfillment. Surrendering our way to Him means walking with confidence, knowing He’s directing every step.
