Micah 7:18 says:
"Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy." (NIV)
This verse beautifully highlights God’s unique character.. He is full of mercy, quick to forgive, and unlike anyone else. His justice is perfect, yet His heart is filled with compassion. He does not hold onto anger but delights in showing love and pardon to His people.
In daily life, this means we can approach God with confidence, knowing His forgiveness is abundant and His mercy never runs out. It also calls us to reflect His character by extending grace to others. Just as God delights in mercy, we too are invited to forgive, release bitterness, and live out His compassion in our relationships.
