Matthew 7:15 says:
"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves." (NIV)
This verse is a warning from Jesus about spiritual deception. Not everyone who appears godly or speaks in His name truly represents Him. False prophets may look gentle and sincere on the outside, but their motives and actions reveal hearts that lead others astray.
In daily life, this means being spiritually alert and discerning. We should test teachings, leaders, and influences by the truth of God’s Word and the fruit of their lives. True servants of God lead with humility, love, and integrity. By staying rooted in Scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit, we can recognize truth from deception and remain firm in our faith.
