Matthew 6:3–4
"But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

Matthew 6:3–4 says:
"But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." (NIV)
These verses emphasize the heart posture of giving. Jesus teaches that generosity should not be about recognition or applause from others. Instead, it should be done quietly and humbly, with the sole desire to honor God. True giving is measured not by how public it is but by the sincerity of the heart.
In daily life, this means choosing to give without seeking attention, praise, or acknowledgment. Whether it’s helping someone in need, supporting a cause, or offering encouragement, God sees it all—even when no one else does. And He promises His reward for faithful, humble generosity.
