Matthew 6:14 says:
"For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." (NIV)
This verse highlights the deep connection between receiving God’s forgiveness and extending forgiveness to others. It reminds us that forgiveness isn’t optional for believers.. it’s a reflection of God’s grace at work in our own lives.
In daily life, this means choosing to let go of resentment and bitterness, even when forgiveness feels hard. As we forgive others, we reflect the heart of Christ and keep our own hearts open to the fullness of God’s mercy. Forgiveness brings freedom, restores relationships, and allows God’s peace to flow in our lives.
