Luke 8:18 says:
"Therefore consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them." (NIV)
This verse is a call to intentional listening and spiritual attentiveness. Jesus is urging us to take seriously what we hear from God—to not just hear the Word, but to receive it with understanding and obedience.
In daily life, this means we should approach God's Word with humility and a desire to grow. When we steward His truth well, He reveals even more. But if we ignore or take it lightly, we risk losing the insight and growth He wants to give us.
