Luke 8:15 says:
"But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop." (NIV)
This verse comes from the parable of the sower and highlights the fruitfulness of those who not only hear God’s Word but hold onto it and live it out with perseverance. The good soil represents a heart that is open, receptive, and committed to growth in Christ.
In daily life, this means cultivating a heart that is teachable and faithful. It’s not enough to just hear God’s Word—we are called to keep it alive in our hearts, apply it, and remain steadfast even through trials. Over time, that perseverance leads to spiritual growth and a harvest of blessings that glorifies God.
