Luke 6:38 says:
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (NIV)
This verse teaches the principle of generosity. Jesus reminds us that when we give freely.. whether it’s love, kindness, forgiveness, time, or resources.. God blesses us abundantly in return. His blessings overflow beyond what we could imagine, reflecting the same measure of grace we extend to others.
In daily life, this means living with open hands and hearts. Generosity isn’t just about money; it’s about giving of ourselves to serve, uplift, and care for others. When we give with sincerity and love, God multiplies it back into our lives, filling us with joy, peace, and His abundant provision.
