Luke 18:1 says:
"Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up." (NIV)
This verse sets the tone for the parable of the persistent widow and emphasizes a vital truth—never stop praying, no matter how long the wait or how difficult the situation.
In daily life, this is a reminder to stay consistent in prayer and not lose heart. God hears every cry, and even when answers don’t come quickly, He is working behind the scenes. Persistence in prayer is an expression of faith and trust in His perfect timing.
