Hebrews 6:12 says:
"We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised."(NIV)
This verse is a strong encouragement to stay diligent in our walk with God. It reminds us that God’s promises are received not through passivity, but through steady faith and enduring patience. The call is to look at the examples of faithful believers before us and follow their perseverance.
In daily life, this means not giving up when the journey feels long or tiring. Instead of growing complacent, we are urged to keep our faith alive and trust that God’s promises will be fulfilled in His timing. By holding onto faith and practicing patience, we will inherit the blessings He has prepared for us.
