Hebrews 5:14 says:
"But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil." (NIV)

This verse emphasizes the importance of spiritual growth and discernment. Just as the body grows stronger through nourishment and exercise, our spiritual maturity develops through consistent engagement with God’s Word and obedience to His truth. Mature believers can recognize what aligns with God’s will and what does not.

In daily life, this means moving beyond surface-level faith and becoming intentional about spiritual discipline.. reading Scripture, praying, and applying God’s wisdom in daily decisions. As we practice obedience and rely on the Holy Spirit, our discernment deepens, allowing us to see clearly, choose wisely, and walk confidently in righteousness.
