Hebrews 12:15 says:
"See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many."(NIV)
This verse warns against allowing bitterness to take root in our hearts. Bitterness not only harms us spiritually and emotionally, but it can also spread and negatively affect others around us.
In daily life, this means staying vigilant to guard our hearts—choosing forgiveness, grace, and reconciliation over resentment. By walking in God’s grace, we not only protect our own spirit but also promote peace and unity among those we influence.
