Hebrews 11:1 says:
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." (NIV)
This verse gives us a clear definition of faith. It is not wishful thinking, but confident trust in God’s promises—even when we can’t see the outcome. Faith is believing that God is faithful and that His Word is true, regardless of our present circumstances.
In daily life, this means holding onto hope even when things look uncertain. Faith allows us to trust God beyond what our eyes can see and our minds can understand. It’s the foundation of our walk with Him, guiding us to live with confidence in His promises and assurance in His unseen but very real presence.
