Genesis 22:1 says:
"Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, 'Abraham!' 'Here I am,' he replied." (NIV)
This verse introduces one of the most profound tests of faith in the Bible. God calls Abraham by name, and Abraham responds with readiness demonstrating his openness and trust in God, even before knowing what would be asked of him.
In daily life, this reminds us to be attentive and responsive to God's voice. Like Abraham, we are often called to trust before we understand. True faith begins with a willing heart that says, "Here I am," ready to follow wherever God leads.
