Colossians 2:13 says:
"When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins." (NIV)
This verse reminds us of the transforming power of God’s forgiveness. Before Christ, we were spiritually dead.. separated from God by sin. But through His mercy, He not only forgave us but also gave us new life in Christ. Our past no longer defines us because His grace has brought us into freedom and renewal.
In daily life, this means we don’t have to live under the weight of guilt or shame. God’s forgiveness is complete it covers all sin and restores us into relationship with Him. We are alive in Christ, empowered to walk in His grace and to extend that same forgiveness and newness of life to others.
