2 Corinthians 8:12 says:
"For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have." (NIV)
This verse emphasizes that God values the heart behind our giving more than the amount. Generosity isn’t measured by size but by willingness and sincerity. What matters is not how much we give, but the spirit in which we give, offering from what we have with a willing heart.
In daily life, this means we don’t need to compare ourselves to others or feel pressured by what we can’t give. Instead, we honor God by giving faithfully and joyfully from what we do have.. whether it’s our time, resources, or talents. A willing heart makes every gift valuable in His eyes.
