2 Corinthians 1:3–4 says:
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."
(NIV)

These verses reveal God’s heart as the source of comfort and compassion. He not only meets us in our pain and gives us peace, but He also equips us to pass that same comfort on to others. Our trials and healing become a testimony that strengthens those walking through their own struggles.

In daily life, this means turning to God first when we feel broken, weary, or burdened.. trusting that His comfort is real and sufficient. It also challenges us to be vessels of encouragement, using our own experiences of God’s faithfulness to support and uplift others. His comfort flows to us so it can also flow through us.
