1 Peter 1:7 says:
"These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed." (NIV)
This verse explains that trials serve a divine purpose: they test and refine our faith, revealing its true strength and value. Just like gold is purified through fire, our faith is purified and strengthened through difficulties.
In daily life, this means we can face hardships with perspective. God uses them not to harm us, but to shape us.. so that our faith becomes more resilient, more beautiful, and more honoring to Him. What we endure today will shine with eternal significance when Christ is revealed.
