1 John 4:17 says:
"This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus." (NIV)
This verse reminds us that as we grow in God’s love, we become more like Christ—and that love gives us confidence, not fear, when we think about standing before God.
In daily life, this means the more we live in and reflect God’s love, the more secure we become in our relationship with Him. His perfect love drives out fear and empowers us to walk boldly in faith, knowing we are His and called to reflect Jesus in how we live.
