1 Corinthians 2:14 says:
"The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit." (NIV)
This verse teaches that spiritual truth can only be understood through the Holy Spirit’s guidance. Without His presence, the things of God may seem confusing or even foolish to the natural mind. The Spirit gives believers the ability to see beyond the surface and grasp the deeper meaning of God’s Word and will.
In daily life, this means we must rely on the Holy Spirit to lead and teach us. Human wisdom alone can’t comprehend spiritual truth.. it takes a heart that is open to God’s Spirit. When we invite Him to guide our thoughts and decisions, He reveals truth, brings understanding, and helps us walk in alignment with God’s purpose.
